Gas Technology Canada (GTC) has ceased operations effective January 1, 1999. The GTC Trademark and Logo have been acquired by the Canadian Gas Research Institute (CGRI).
All GTC projects, Intellectual Property and contracts have been transferred or reassigned. The Environmental Program and NGV Program have been amalgamated with Gas Research Institute (GRI), Chicago, through GRI's Canadian division, GRI Research and Development Canada (GRI Canada). The HVAC, Industrial and Advanced Energy Systems Programs have been distributed through project assignments to the project investors and to the Canadian Gas Research Institute (CGRI).
CGRI has custody of the GTC Program 1 (HVAC and Appliances), Program 2 (Industrial Technology) and Program 6 (Advanced Energy Systems) project files. Investors in former GTC projects who need access to the project files are advised to contact General Manager, CGRI, 60 Granton Drive, Unit 10, Richmond Hill, Ontario L4B 2N6, tel. (905) 707-7247, fax. (905) 707-1913. Archival searches will be performed on a fee-for-service basis for project investors.
